It was a complete blackout..
Whoo Hoo!, I got an iPhone for Xmas :) It is an amazing machine.. The number and versatility of the Apps that can be downloaded is huge.. I just need to resist the temptation to unlock it ;)

The Dutch could use this to reduce bike thefts and wondering where you locked up the bike :) I wonder if this is automated or if there is a guy working underground? Nice idea but not so good if the power goes out :(
Leave it to the Dutch :) They have plans to build floating homes and roads on a lake.. Here's the link.. This could be a solution to sea level rising... from a country filled with houseboats :) DeltaSync's founder Rutger de Graaf says:
Seems there a whole bunch of new species out there.. and they are big! Too bad they are snakes and spiders.. and that giant pink millipede spits cyanide :( and to think, I finally found a cheap fare to Thailand.. better rethink the trip :)
OMG! My favorite musical in my new favorite language in my new favorite city.. I wish I was there to see it with my new BFF Ning! But I was just chatting with him and he said it's really cold there now :(
I don't think we've turned the corner in Iraq.. "The shoe represents the lowest part of the body (the foot) and displaying or throwing a shoe at someone or something in Arab cultures denotes that the person or thing is "beneath them"."Wikipedia
Nothing like being at a Christmas party with a bunch of nerds showing off the iPhone and gPhone and talking Tech :D I really like the constellation viewer on the gPhone where you lift the phone to the sky and it names the constellation you are looking at based on the GPS info.. however, playing an iPhone like a ocarina was pretty cool!
I can't find the big stick, so use your hand ;)
Biggest moon in 15 years! Wahooooo! Too bad it's been cloudy lately.. but I did manage to see it over Makapu.. it was loveally :D Read report here
Last week, I went to the Bodies Exhibit... I saw that it was in the Netherlands when I was there and many people have since recommended it, however, I was unsure I wanted to go due to the controversy involving the source of the bodies :( I wasn't that impressed since I have witnessed surgeries and dissections before which are a lot more graphic considering the blood factor.. I am surprised it is so popular.. morbid curiosity, I guess
Everyone needs to be cheered up once in a while ;)
They claim it's to reduce crime and keep it away from the schools :) Here's the article Usually making something illegal increases crime...

I can't believe he blames the recession on before he came in.. like the tax cuts and war in Iraq had nothing to do with it :( I'm glad everyday he's been President, he's been joyful.. tell that to the families that lost people to the war he wasn't ready for.. so sad
